In Byron Bay Simon and I took the bus to Surfers Paradise. This place is GREAT. I can not understand why everyone says it's just skyscrapers and a beach?! Its more than that. The nightlife is just awesome, so many people and lights and palm trees and it is so cute...
Our first day in Surfers Paradise it rained cats and dogs really! But nothing can bring us down... We bought some drinks, went to the beach with our raincoats and had a look at the city. There was a security guy taking care after the beach. We talked to him for about 20 minutes about this and that... His name was Paul. Even though he looked very old he told us that he just got his first kid.
By the way me and Simon are staying in a hostelroom with twenty other people which is just awesome. I thought that it might be very loud and you can't get any sleep but it is surprisingly quiet. And we have an airconditioner in our room!!! I think we have the honour because we're sharing the room with so many people. However, I wanted to do that because I wanted to experience this. And it is just for a few nights so it doesn't matter.
I'm a bit in a stress as I want to tell you so many things about whats going on and that sort of stuff but I have no time left... I tell you more as soon as I can. Don't hesitate to have a look at my facebookpage, there you see some things as well.
