I'm trying to hold this post short as I'm writing from my mobile again.
We (which includes me and Simon) have been to Brisbane a few days now. Brisbane is ugly. big. and there is nothing to do. As we were really bored we went to the cinema twice! The cinemas get cooled down so much that you are almost frozen when the movie ends... The first movie we saw was 'the wedding ringer'. We thought it might be a tear jerker but it was a really good movie, we laughed a lot. The second one was 'American Sniper', I can highly recommend that one. It's about war, but the story behind touched us both much.
It's soo hot here, fortunately it rained during the njght so it cooled down a fair bit which helped us going through the day without suffering. Twice we grabbed our books (I'm reading 'Anne Frank' and Simon is reading 'metro 2033') and went to the Botanic Garden, sat down for ages and just read. The garden is awesome: so many huge trees, very green and lots and lots of different animals, like birds, ants and more. haha.
Tomorrow we're heading to Mooloolaba. I've got no clue what is expecting us but it's definitely going to be better than here. It's on the coast by the way.
At the moment we're staying in a room for four with no company, so we're by ourselfes. Last night we had a blast, we were sharing some experiences from High School and that stuff, which included some fun stories, when we suddenly got interrupted by a US girl from Alabama. She was veeery strange. Ah I just remembered that I was reading my book to Simon out loud for about 45 minutes or something... That was good fun, too. Because we discussed the contents. The girl from Alabama stayed just one night and left early the next morning. It was funny (funny strange, not funny haha) because she got a bit angry as I asked if it was true that they don't get world news in the states. My hostbrother who was there for 10 months told me that, don't blame me! But anyway she got really kind of angry. Silly.
No one should put the americans in a bad light!!!
