Today I woke up very late again. Such a good sleep... so beautiful. So good. While sleeping I woke up because I heard myself singing out loud... hahaha. In my dream I sang and because I was so into it I woke up and continued. Don & Roxy were busy putting their stuff into their caravan. They walked in and outside of the house. So I decided to stand up and offer them help. We had a coffee together and finished making everything ready. Don gave me some things to do before I leave (turning the electricity off/turn the warm water off/putting out the rubbish and so on). Roxy was so kind to leave me something for lunch, which was great. So when they left we gave eachother a hug and I lost one or two teardrop... because it was such a great time and I had soo much fun and it's just amazing what they offered me and what they showed me and how kind they were with not even knowing me! They let in a complete stranger and it was just soo good. I enjoyed it so much. They sat into the car and while driving away they waved and honked. I went back into the house and ate lunch first because it was already 12.30pm and I was hungry. After getting another foodbaby I decided to pack my last few things. As it got very warm again that day I jumped into the water for the last time in Port Lincoln. I had a shower and than Travis arrived. The fish! Don reminded me a couple of times not to forget the fish... I went into the citchen, grabbed the fish, turned down the electricity and the water and left. We drove for about 20 minutes northwards to the airport and said goodbye to eachother. As always the flight was cozy and all good.
Adelaide
At five o'clock I arrived in Adelaide. I already know the airport because I've been there for a few hours before I went to Port Lincoln. I got picked up by Daniela. Daniela is another friend of Michael. She is German and has been living in Australia for two years. She lives in Adelaide with her husband Branton. They met when Daniela was in my age when she was travelling through Australia. So they fell in love and married. They lived in Germany as well for a few years but before that they had a distant relationship. Now Daniela is twenty-five, married and has a baby. Wonderful, isn't it? She's living her dream... Or it seems like a dream to me anyway. And again I think it is amazing to just take up a complete stranger with such a great hospitality. So she picked me up and we drove southwards to their home in Warradale.
They have a cute little appartment with a garden. I again have my own room which is just great... A good change to the full hostels and a very comfy bed, what you don't find often in Hostels either.
Allie, their baby, is so cute I can tell you. She has these beautiful blue eyes with dark curly hair. And she has a lot of hair... She always mumbles and tries to talk and she got to the stage where she tries to crawl.
Daniela and Brenton are trying a diet with not eating any grain because of personal reasons. Anyway I like the idea to try to cook without grain and it's very interesting to find ways to avoid it. We had cauliflower instead of rice which I reckon is a great idea. Since I'm with them I always had good creative food. Daniela made a cake out of pumpkin instead of using flour. It was really good I can tell you. And different! I love to try new things and seeing other ways to do stuff.
After having a good sleep again I went to the mall five minutes away from their place. I had a coffee and looked around a bit. Brenton asked me to join him to the pub tonight, I was really happy to join him. His manager had a gig there.
I met a lot of friends of his. I don't remember all their names but I really remember Amy. She's in Brentons age and very bubbly and likes to talk. I got along with her very well. So we had a few drinks talked about this and that, listened to music, danced a bit and just mocked around. Me and Brenton left at approximately twelve o'clock. The next day I slept very long. So unusual for me really. Probably because I stay awake for so long. I should change my daily-rhythm. Whatever. When I stood up there was Lisa with Jordan (Lisa's baby) in the kitchen. These are friends of Daniela, they know eachother from the church. So I joined them and we had a good talk. aaand... Daniela allowed me to hold her baby... and I even holded Jordan. That was so cute oh my gosh. I loved it. So I hanged around at home today because the weather was not so good. It rained a lot. I chatted with Daniela a lot.
Later in the afternoon we went out together and left Allie (her baby) and Brenton alone at home. We went to have a SO DELICIOUS hot chocolate close to the beach. That was so good oh my gosh.
