Rainbow Beach

The busdrive from Noosa to Rainbow Beach was the funniest drive I ever did, seriously. Me and Simon made fun of the busdriver, Simon said he's like a guy from the military. He was very serious and strict. Not in a good mood, loud and unfriendly. Simon and me took it with humour, though, which is why it was so funny. It was already dark when we arrived in Rainbow Beach and the shops were closed, so we went to a restaurant to have tea. Simon ate a stake with chips and I had a Cesar salad made out of gold (because it was so expensive). Back in the hostel we found two hammocks! We lay in there for ages that night. Actually we wanted to sleep in it but ut started raining sadly.
The next day we stood up early for my surprise. We were able to eat from the free breakfast the hostel provided.
I have to remember what we did... Anyway most of the time we were just hanging around in our hammocks and talking. Sometimes we also played games together. The beach here is called Rainbow Beach because of a legend, Simon told me the story. It's about a woman who got along with the rainbow very well... Anyway some shit happened and the rainbow died and lay down on the sand, the sand has lots and lots of layers. When you dig in the sand you see layers of brown sand and some of dark sand and it looks like a black and white rainbow. Thats supposed to be the dead rainbow, that's why there are these layers. Funny story.
Simon went for a bodysurf the last time here in Australia. We also lay down under a palmtree and read. Simon's still reading  'Metro 2033' and now I'm reading 'The theory of everything'. It's Jane Hawking (Stephen Hawkings wife) talking about her life with him. I guess it's called 'The theory of everything' because the theory of everything is love. And Stephen wouldn't have lived that long and become that successful without her love I guess. But right now I'm reading 'Game of thrones'. I'm switching sometimes... If one book gets boring I'm changing to the other one. The last night together we had a BBQ in a park again. Unfortunately the sausages were disgusting... But the grapes were good though, so we got that going for us which was nice. Haha.
Back in the hostel we sat to the pool and played pantomime, which was sooo funny! We couldn't stop laughing... This morning Simon left for my disappointment. I was really sad when he left really. We got along with eachother very well and we had a great time together. We said that back in Europe we want to travel some more together. Maybe Croatia, Prague or places like that. A cheap weekendtrip would be the best.
Soo, I kind of envy him for going home because it would be relaxing, kind of.
Now I'm by myself again and I need to make friends!
In a few days I'm going on a Frazer Island Tour for three days two nights. After that I'm going further up north to Rockhampton, Townsville, Airlie Beach, Whitsundays and Cairns, then the plan is to go to Darwin. After that I'm not quite sure yet wheter I should go to Alice Springs or if I should do the Westcoast... Honestly, I've got time to do all these things!
