Fraser Island // Last but not least

Edan and Emma stood up for the sunrise today while Margot and me stayed in our room. I slept while she was reading or watched the sunrise a bit from the balcony. When the two from Taiwan came back they went to bed again while I was a hundred per cent awake. I packed my bag again, got dressed and everything and went to have breakfast with Margot. By the way we two ladies had a really nice talk the other night.
She's such a good person.
We met Beaux at 8am at the carpark. We took off to a place next to the 75 mile beach, where we hit a path who went uphill for about 30 minutes. As always Beaux was kind of running while we lazy humans took our time... It was a bit of an unconfortable walk as the ground was just sand, which makes it just harder to walk. On the other hand it was nice because Margot told me the story of Maleficient and it was really nice to listen to her while walking. She also told me some other stories. Finally we made it to a big sandblow and had a fantastic view. It was soo hot... In the distance we could see the lake. As soon as we arrived everyone just jumped in as we all were covered in sweat from the long walk. Uk was wearing long sleeves and covered his face because he got really bad sunburned the other day. His girlfriend didn't bring any swimmers because we were supposed not to have any possibility to shower afterwards. But obviously it was so freaking hot she just jumped in with all her clothes on. I would have done the same but I was wearing my bikini. This morning I convinced Margot to put on her bikini, too. First she didn't wanted to for the same reason as the Korean girl (I'm afraid I still don't know her real name). She was so greatful that I convinced her and thanked me a few times. We all had a very nice ice cold bath in the lake with thousands of small fish. They were absolutely not shy and they surrounded you when you sat in the water and tried you. They were always liking my wound on my foot I got from scratching. Cute and strange feeling. There were also a few huge fish.
Walking the sandblow back up was just the hardest thing I ever did, my legs were just burning... It was very steep and the sand hot. When you put a foot in the sand you just slowly slipped back a bit every time. Walking back just felt as long as walking there.
On our way back in the car we had a flat tire! Shit I could literally hear the air coming out of it while sitting in the bus. It took Beaux at least an hour to change the tire. Some of us were helping him obvioulsy but he didn't really want help. So we arrived in Rainbow Beach quite late... It was about 2.30 pm. We still ate lunch all together and changed contact details. Margot was such a darling. She disappeared for a few minutes and came back with a jar with coconut oil. We were talking about it before and she said I should put it in my hair. That's what I just did after I had my shower. Tomorrow I'm making my way to Great Keppel Island, I'm looking sooo forward to it.
