I've got to grab some new energy as my travel mate Simon left today. I've got to organise myself new again, I'm alone and all by myself. It's good though, now I can do whatever I want. Not that I couldn't with Simon but you don't have to make compromises. You can be lazy when you want to and that sort of stuff. But I will really miss him, we had a good time.
Here in Rainbow Beach are so many Germans... Everywhere I hear people talking they talk German. The funniest thing is when people talk to me and I haven't talked to them yet, they speak German, not English!!! You know what I mean? When you don't know a person yet you'd talk English, right? Because you don't know if they understand you... Today I met a girl, she works here but she comes from Germany, too, she admitted having no work visa! She said she doesn't get paid, she works just for the accommodation but still I reckon this is very courageous. I'd be so scared to get caught, they kick you out of the country for years or never let you in again as you broke the law. They can't really get you another punishment I guess.
Oooh my gosh, now I smell marihuana... So many people smoke weed here it's unbelievable. Wherever you go, there's always someone who smokes weed. In Switzerland I never met so many people smoking it that obviously. Apparently the law is not so strict with it here.
The supermarket here in Rainbow Beach is a bit fucked up. I bought stuff there twiche which was not good anymore... I think this is because they don't have enogh people buying all that stuff provided and they don't throw it away and try to sell it still.
At the moment I'm sitting im my hammock again, they are so comfy. When I go back to Switzerland I want to get my own, too! Somewhere I'll manage to put one, no matter what it costs! I'll be able to convince my parents somehow to put one up.
Beforehand I talked to two French girls, they're from Paris to be precisely. The've already been to the States and now they're travelling through Australia. They'll visit New Caledonia and after that they go back home. Tomorrow we go to the beach together, which is going to be fun I'm sure.
So the plan after Frazer Island is to go to Rockhampton, after that I go to Great Keppel Island where I'm going to stay maybe two nights. The next stop will be Airlie Beach, Whitsundays. Maybe I do some more stops before Cairns.
