Noosa // THREE

Yesterday we booked a boattrip through the river and luxury homes in Noosa Heads. It left at 12.30 at Noosa Jetty or something. Anyway it was a cushy little boat and a bubbly guide. The most people were standing on the deck while me and Simon made ourselfes comfortable downstairs next to the guide  They offered us cafe and cookies and we learned a lot about Noosa and its luxury homes. Most parts of Noosa are unnatural, in a sense of that they put sand on purpose and that sort of staff to build homes. We saw huge houses... they were massive and one more beautiful than the other. Really I could never decide which one I'd prefer. After that awesome boattrip, it took two hours, the guy even dropped us off in front of the hostel, we grabed our swimmers and went straight to the beach. The waves were massive! That day I really felt the strenght of the ocean. Fortunately nothing bad happend. But let me tell you how it was. On the right hand side there was a cliff and a whole bunch of kids having their surf lessons. Some pro surfers where out there as well. Observing them was just awesome, the tricks and how they got messed up by the waves. We decided to have fun and go out there as well. First problem to solve: the stream going from the right hand side to the left hand side. It was like a channel you could hardly swim against it... It didn't take Simon long and he was really far out in the ocean. I had much struggle to go there... Hard trying I observed Simon for a second and I just saw him catching a huge wave (vwe were without boards by the way, we just went for a bodysurf) and he was sitting on it and he made a perfect somersault in the water. That was so funny. I kept my eyes on the spot I last  saw him as I got scared if he might drowned... finally I saw him. I gave myself another go in swimming out again and I made it. The water was so deep out there I couldn't touch the ground. Surprisingly I was able to stay out there for long, I didn't get tired. We weren't scared because we were still swimming in the area where the surf rescue takes care after you. Anyway we were enjoying these waves soo much. They were as vast as I've never seen waves before and funnily we felt so certain about us. Anyway, when I decided to lie on the sand a bit, some more rip curls hit me and wouldn't let me go. I got under water for ages and I even almost lost my bikini a few times... I made some more somersault under water and couldn't find the way back up again and that sort of shit. The wave sometimes hit me very hard on my back head so I really felt the strenght of the ocean. As I was swimming towards the beach I got pulled on the left hand side even more (because of the channel I told you before) so I had to walk back for ages. I was shaking after this... Everytime I found myself back to the air I could hardly get more oxygen because another wave came to hit me. Hahahah awesoooomeeeee! Simon was fine by the way.
After washing off the saltwater I sat down for a while to calm myself.
Back in the hostel Simon lay in bed as he was tired. I went outside to talk to some people. There were these guys sitting on a bench, they suddenly called me to sit next to them. So there was Mat from the States and Ramon from Thun, Switzerland. After a while Simon joined the conversation and we ate dinner together. We had a good night and we talked about some very interesting topics, such as the thing with the Twin Towers in NY, the Swissarmy and so on.
We went to bed late, it was about 00.00
