I nearly cried, seriously. The time has come to leave Australia, the place which grew to be a kind of second home for me. It was really special moment for me at the airport in Perth, as it was the first time in my life I stayed for such a long time in another country, by myself! Being forced to face problems I never met before... I can't tell you how grateful I am for the every experience... I've been through lovesickness, homesickness and other bad feelings but I don't want to miss any of them. I had a thousand more good feelings and all of them made me more mature and experienced. The time I had in Manly was awesome, even though I did not like school that much. For the first time in my life I was able to experience a class without being bullied. I hope everyone else in my class felt the same. With some difficulties (because of shyness) in the beginning we grew to be a cute little family.
Not to forget the awesome hospitality of every local I met and the help of my friend Michael in Switzerland, my personal tourguide.
I took the plane from Perth to Bali, further from Bali to Singapore. The airport in Bali was massive, seriously. When I arrived in Singapore (it was in the middle of the night) I had to stay in a queue for a cab for approximately half an hour! Anyway, I had a very luxurious taxi and I sat at the back of the car, I felt like a little princess. When I arrived at the Fivestonehostel at 2.30 in the morning there sat two Asians in front of it. "You look tired", said one of them. I talked to them for about half an hour before I finally checked in. I was so excited because I already liked Singapore form what I saw from out of the cab that I was not tired. Another Asian at the reception was so nice. He explained everything very well to me and showed me my room. Here in the hostel is a 'no shoes policy' which basically means everytime you are inside of the building you should take off your shoes. That is not only in the hostel by the way. In Singapore feet are disgusting and you should always take off your shoes when entering a house. The hostel is unbelievably clean, modern and beautiful. Google 'Fivestonehostel Singapore' if you are curious.
The next morning I took a shower, ate from the free breakfast and was stunned that they had the same jam and flakes like in Australia... By the way you don't have to clean your own dishes, someone is doing it for you, which was very unusual from what I had in Australia.
I grabbed a map and went to the main shopping street for a window shopping. I went there by metro, with a three day pass for only twenty dollars!
I walked the whole day through the city and had an awesome day. I also went to the Marina Bay Skylark for an awesome view.
